The blade is supported by an easy-to-clean, open-backed handle featuring contoured G-10 scales and nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners that form the backbone of a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism. The scales are meticulously machined with Spyderco's signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern. This high-traction surface ensures a non-slip grip, even with wet hands, and reveals the materials alternating black and yellow layers to enhance the knife's visibility in aquatic environments. A broad-based four-position pocket clip provides a choice of left- or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry and is complemented by a generously sized lanyard hole for the easy attachment of fobs, lanyards, and safety lines.
