More than 25 percent lighter than its G-10-handled counterpart, its injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle also offers the enhanced grip security of Spyderco's proven Bi-Directional Texture pattern. However, the streamlined engineering of this remarkable design does more than just trim its weight; it also reduces its number of metal components, making it an ideal candidate for Spydercos ultra-corrosion-resistant Salt Series. The Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt proudly showcases a full-flat-ground blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut, a revolutionary blade steel that challenges conventional metallurgy to deliver an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, and extreme corrosion resistance. The satin-finished blade is paired with a bright yellow FRN handle that enhances the knifes visibility in and around the water. The handle is also home to the knife's streamlined Compression Lock mechanism, a generously sized lanyard hole, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that offers a choice of left- or right-side tip-up carry.
