    SpydercoPolice 4- in K390 steel

Posted by Jeb Hood on 13th Sep 2026

The knife is an absolute have to have, this model with the K390 steel is very hard to near impossible to edc in the summer here in Texas. The sweat vapor off your body will just ruin the blade finish in less that a week. Other than that this steel holds a great edge with a very demanding work load. It's the single best choice of blade steel Spyderco offers in this Police4 model...

The K390 is ridiculous and holds an edge through anything I've thrown at it. And by stropping it regularly I have been able to keep a working edge easily without sharpening. It carries remarkably well for such a huge knife. Great ergos no matter how you hold it. Great price and fast shipping from National.
