The full-flat-ground blade includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. It is supported by a high-strength Compression Lock™ mechanism and housed in a handle featuring signature dark gray textured G-10 scales. Love the size and ergos of the Para 3, so this wasn't my first one. However, I don't think I have ever unboxed a more perfect example of a Spyderco...I assume, due in large part to this particular retailer being awesome. Blade was perfectly centered, scales and blade were spotless, action is incredible, and edge is razor sharp/symmetrical. Thanks National Knives!
I have always like the size of the Para 3. It is the only thing I have that is California Compliant but the size is outstanding to me. I have 3 Para 3, but since everyone raved about the Maxamet I thought I would try it. So far very happy. We will see how it ages.
