This limited-edition Sprint Run™ expression of the Delica® 4 Lightweight showcases Carpenter® Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this high-performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade. To make this elite Delica 4 Lightweight even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, its four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.

A customer for life

Happy with the purchase. Great knife design in amazing steel. According to @ericasedc, Seki City's PD #1 performs much better than their CruWear. I almost completely missed this Sprint Run. The only reason I purchased from National Knives is that they had them in stock. Had some concerns with QC and was really pleasantly surprised by the effort Rob put into making sure I was happy with my purchase before he even shipped the knives to me. They earned a customer for life.
