This limited-edition Sprint Run™ expression of the Delica® 4 Lightweight showcases Carpenter® Technology’s Micro-Melt PD#1, an air-hardening, cold-work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech® Micro-Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM® CRU-WEAR®, this high-performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade. To make this elite Delica 4 Lightweight even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non-reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black-and-burgundy theme, its four-position pocket clip, lock bar, and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.

DELICA 4 SPRINT RUN

1st it's a Spyderco...which says a lot. The FRN scales really suit me as they are light , thin and grippy. There is no slipping with the FRN Scales. The Sprint Runs Purple is quite pleasing as well. The Micro Melt PD#1 steel comes incredibly sharp as do all Spyderco blades. The Steel is an equal (arguably) to CPM-Cruwear so that is a solid reason to get one. The price is the final reason to get one...this knife is way cheaper that the average knife sporting CPM-Cruwear steel. Serious good purchase. Also, National Knives processes their orders with lightning speed. My order went from order to Post Office the same day. Impressive Customer Service in my experience.
