Manufactured in Sweden using Damasteel’s proprietary powder metallurgy Damascus process, this remarkable material combines two different hardenable knife steel grades to offer both corrosion resistance and superior strength. Named for a worm that ate the roots of Norse mythology’s Tree of Life, Grabak’s chaotic swirling pattern replicates the wings and fire of ancient Norse dragons. The full-flat-ground blade of this Chaparral captures that spirit, revealing the stunning intricacy of this complex pattern. It is further highlighted by a linerless handle crafted with ivory G-10 scales, a stainless steel backspacer, and a sturdy back lock mechanism. A deep-pocket wire clip completes the package, providing discreet left- or right-side tip-up carry and making all aspects of this incredibly refined folder completely ambidextrous.
