Good Knife
If you're looking into this knife, you probably already understand that it's going to be an extremely well-made product whose reputation precedes it, so I won't waste time elaborating on that. It's solid. Stuff you might want to know: the stonewash finish on this model is a very even and highly polished satin that's much brighter than it appears in the product photo. The finish is not streaky and dirty the way it appears in the photo. If you're looking for a dull gray blade like in the photo, then go with the working finish. The translucent green G10 scale on my particular knife was also much less saturated than the photo, and appears closer to gray in most lighting conditions. Ergonomically, this knife's detent is tuned for use with the flipper, which works perfectly - but that also means the blade is a bit difficult and uncomfortable to deploy with the thumb studs. So consider the no flipper versions if you prefer flicking knives open that way. The gimping is also extremely aggressive on this knife. I was warned about this, and they weren't kidding - if you're gonna play with your knife all day there are other Hinderer options without the gimping. None of this stuff I mentioned here is inherently a flaw, just information that might help you make a decision.
