I guess I like tanto blades now
I was never a fan of tantos, assuming they were mainly for stabbing and not great slicers. I love Hinderer’s harpoon spanto and had been waiting for a 3.0 version, but after finding a deal on a harpoon tanto I was surprised by how capable it is. The taller primary bevel gives it real slicing bite, and the subtle, more obtuse secondary angle makes the tip extremely pointy while still reinforced by the harpoon spine. I liked it so much I now have three of them, so far. Thanks National Knives for having these in stock and shipping them so quickly!
