Description
The tribe “Kawésqar” were skilled fishermen who inhabited the extreme south of Chile and sailed the icy waters of the Magellan Strait using their sea wolf skin canoes. They made their own hooks and fishing accessories, among them different types of harpoons. In the “Kawésqar” language, “Tantar” was the harpoon with several sharp-pointed ends. Condor’s Tantar Harpoon comes disassembled with two double-end sets.
